Out-of-court settlement of disputes

The competent arbitration office for property disputes arising from the mandate relationship is the arbitration office of the legal profession, Neue Grünstraße 17, 10179 Berlin,www.s-d-r.org.
An obligation and fundamental readiness of the angels patent attorney office to participate in the dispute resolution procedure at the arbitration board of the attorneys at law or in the alternative dispute resolution over the OS platform of the European Union, does not exist.
Professional liability insurance
Patent attorneys and attorneys at law are required by law to maintain a professional liability insurance with a minimum insurance sum of 250 TEUR.
Due to the high economic value of the proceedings handled for our clients, we have decided to increase this sum insured to EUR 3 million.
Information according to § 2 para. 1 no. 11 DL-InfoV on professional liability insurance
All attorneys of engel patentanwaltskanzlei are covered by a professional liability insurance with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG, John-F. Kennedy-Straße 1, 65189 Wiesbaden.
The territorial scope of the professional liability insurance covers the territory of the European Union and the states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Insurance cover also exists for patent attorney activities in connection with non-European property rights.
